Competing 1st and 2nd teams within the Pontefract and District Cricket League
Outdoor nets every Wednesday from 5:30 pm
Notton Cricket Club was formed in 1951 after the field was left in Trust to the Village Hall Trustees. It forms part of the sports and village hall complex.
The club is open to all members, men and women, the majority of whom reside from outside of the village. Two senior teams operate in the Pontefract and District Cricket League, with matches played on Saturdays and the odd Sunday cup tie.
We are trying to encourage youngsters, boys and girls, to take part. In order to encourage this we have a summer cricket school which is normally in the school holiday period.
Fundraising via social events in the village hall, combined with car boot sales and an annual classic car show raises much needed funds to maintain equipment and the condition of the cricket field.
Notton Village cricket club is active on social media and events are posted here regularly
